MICCS Certification Awarded to Triangle for 2010

Triangle Enterprises has achieved MICCS (Metro Indianapolis Coalition For Construction Safety) Certification for 2010. The recognition places the company in an elite group of contractors and makes a significant statement to the construction industry in Central Indiana.

In making the announcement, Scott Grimes, Executive Director of MICCS said, "By succeeding n your effortsto become MICCS Certified, you have demonstrated that your company safety program not only supports the activities in which your workforce is engaged, but it also functions to keep your workers safe, as evidenced by your outstanding safety statistics.

 

Triangle Receives S. Ill. Builders Assoc. Safety Award for 2009

Triangle Enterprises was recently honored by the Southern Illinois Builders Association  for achieving safety excellence during 2009. The company received the Commendation Award in the Over 150,000 Manhours category for being 70 percent below the national average in lost time accidents. The award, which was presented at the SIBA Spring Industry Reception in Carbondale, Ill., marks the seventh time since 2002 that Triangle has received the award.

Triangle Receives Go Kahuna Certification

Triangle Enterprises has recently received Go Kahuna Certification. This certification tells contractors that Triangle is a professional organization meeting all licensing and insurance requirements that contractors are looking for in a reputable subcontractor. Dealing with a Go Kahuna Certified business reduces the risk of doing business with uninsured, unlicensed, or unreliable contractors.  As insurance certificate holders on all policies, Go Kahuna provides third-party verification of general liability, worker's compensation, bonding, or any other relevant insurance for member companies.

Triangle Recognized for Zero Injuries
at Duke Energy Project

Triangle was recently recognized by The Association of Union Contractors and the National Maintenance Agreement Policy Committee for achieving zero OSHA recordable injuries at the Duke Energy Cayuga Generating Station FGD Project located in Cayuga, IN. Triangle employees worked over 50,000 safe man-hours on this project installing insulation and lagging on the FGD ductwork as well as installation of pipe insulation. Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) is a process that removes the sulfur dioxide emitted from coal-fired power plants, a contributor to acid rain production. JP Kelly, President, and Kent Buchanan, Vice President, will be officially presented with NMAPC’s Zero Injury Safety Award at the Annual Safety Awards Gala to be held at the National Air & Space Museum in Washington, D.C.

Triangle Achieves New Safety Milestone

Triangle employees recently completed 902,417 hours without a lost time injury. This compares to the previous record of 760,114 hours. We believe this record is proof positive of Triangle’s commitment to safety as a core value. Triangle will continue to take proactive steps to continuously enhance safety performance in our quest to reach our ultimate goal of zero accidents.

Triangle Receives MCAA Safety Award

The data is in and Triangle's safety performance has been recognized for the 2nd year in a row by the Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA). MCAA’s safety excellence award was presented to Triangle and its employees for achieving a zero lost workday incident rate for the 2008 calendar year. Our clients can rest assured Triangle will continue to diligently strive for a repeat achievement in 2009.
